Amanda Selormey is one of two high-achieving Enterprise Project Assistants within the Enterprise Support Department at Oxford Brookes University. Having graduated in Interior Architecture from Oxford Brookes in 2019, Amanda now supports the reach of start-ups both nationally and internationally by increasing the visibility of underrepresented founders through the co-led and oversubscribed programmes, Rise and Bloom. Having designed the BEHive Coworking space in Oxford Brookes University’s Headington Campus, Amanda is now a steering member of the new and upcoming Enterprise Centre set to launch in January. Her enthusiasm to work with young people and those who are of a less-represented ethnicity span across her involvement in programmes and launching the first podcast for Brookes Enterprise Support, Lost and Founded; A platform of raw and relatable stories from successful entrepreneurs, committed start-ups, and personal experiences to inspire, inform and influence. As a host for 2 exceptional podcasts, Amanda’s experience in brand awareness, spatial design and freelance graphic work has fuelled her creativity to take on greater challenges in her professional career.
