Lydiah Igweh is Director of Enterprise Support at Oxford Brookes and is responsible for leading and managing enterprise and entrepreneurship education activity across the University. She is a passionate and recognised champion for developing inclusive curricular/co-curricular programmes and sustainable enterprise and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Lydiah has successfully started and scaled numerous businesses and supported as consultant, mentor and investor over 250 ambitious start-ups and entrepreneurs to do the same.
Lydiah is a board member of the Oxfordshire Strategic Partnership, contributing to the regions’ Inclusive Economy Strategy and the Economic Recovery agenda alongside senior leaders and stakeholders from the private and public sector. She is a founding Director of Oxfordshire Social Entrepreneurship Partnership, a community interest company supporting the region’s purpose-driven businesses and social enterprises.
In March 2021, Lydiah was recognised as an inspiring leader in the Higher Education Sector by Universities UK for her contribution to Enterprise Education and commitment to advancing Race Equality.
